30 Day Challenge DAY 2- The meaning behind my blogger name.

Hi beautiful people, it's the second day of my 30 day blog challenge,and today I am supposed to explain the meaning behind my blogger name.

My blogger name is Maggie-kenyanincambodia ...and it is pretty much self explanatory.My name is Maggie, I am a Kenyan and I live in Cambodia.Finish. I know i know how boring!haha but am afraid there is no deeper meaning. I read quite a number of blogs and some of the names are quite interesting,intriguing and even quite shocking and I am sure there is a wonderful story/meaning behind some of these names!Am sorry I do not fall under this category ..LOL. Hope I didn't bore you to death.

I have heard horror stories from China, Hong Kong, Thailand etc. Black Africans experience the worst kind of racism in these countries. I have personally experienced racism in so many aspects of my life here in Cambodia and I will talk about it here for two reasons. 1) To spread awareness and 2) It is the issue I get asked most about in emails. 1. Hey lovelies, so I will write a couple of late posts that I should have written a million months ago. Late last year I got to go to Malaysia for a weekend getaway with two of my girlfriends and we had so much fun.  My girlfriends I absolutely love African food and African music and I know there is a big African community in Kuala Lumpur, and where there’s an African community, there is bound to be a couple of African Restaurants. Back to the Kingdom of wonder!!!

Bangkok,Thailand was fun!!Really fun, and big and awesome.I fell in love with the place and I will definitely go back. I was amazed at how diverse the people in Bangkok are,like the last time I saw that many Arabs was definitely in Kenya. Arabs are really really cute I remember wanting to steal some super cute Arab babies...just kidding. The taxis were cheap compared to the taxis here in Phnom Penh..I remember being stuck in traffic for over an hour and still paying just a little over 5 dollars...and at night my friends and I would go a pretty good distance and still pay like just over 2 dollars. I was amazed at how nobody was staring at me..at some point I started feeling neglected actually...mmmmh that is disturbing!But I don't blame them,they have seen it all probably so a random black girl walking down the street...who cares!And I found it so weird that in Bangkok,they don't drive big SUVs...Cambodia is way poorer and more remote than Thailand..like we cant even compare...
